The floors are clean - I want them dirty again.
The walls are stark white - I want them marked again.
The work will go up - and I will want to take it down again...

Drawing as Process
Drawing; a continuum, a never-ending recursive repetition - the same and different; an enduring companion to all other practice. Line and tone, irrespective and independent of painting, sculpture, installation, video, performance - discrete and self-containing; describing itself and self-defining whilst simultaneously defying definition - a contradiction; not contingent - independent and related, connected and standing alone - simple,complex, vital and ancient - venerable testifier to our mark-making compulsion.
